A Balanced Life understands that employees are typically at different points along their paths to health & wellness. Health Expos & Wellness Expos can actually save lives, especially for employees that only go to a doctor when they are extremely sick instead of having an annual wellness check-up.
Encouraging and educating your employees to be proactive and to form healthy habits for prevention will help to control long-term costs by reducing medical claims. The amount of claims filed is one of the main factors that drives up health premiums.
Corporate cultures vary from company site to company site, so we customize your Expo to best meet your employee’s health interests and needs.
Today, companies more than ever are recognizing the importance of keeping their employees healthy and at work. We provide information that addresses issues such as aging parents, children, and issues that add outside stressors to your employees while they are at work.
Employee wellness can affect insurance rates. Add that fact to the ever present need to maintain and/or improve employer/employee relations and you start to realize the benefits a comprehensive health expo can bring to your company.
Our process is simple. After meeting with a representative from the “Host Company” (the company hosting the expo), a date is set for the event. We then proceed to select and book local health care providers based on the host company’s preference of topics. Since leading a balanced life means more than just being physically fit, we also offer information on other topics such as (but not limited to) education, child care, financial fitness, alternative energy and insurance.
On event day, we greet the providers and coordinate the entire health expo. This includes table arrangements and decorations that meet with the host’s approval.
A Balanced Life brings to you a wide variety of health screenings such as osteoporosis, audiology testing, eye testing, blood pressure exams and chiropractic screenings. We also offer informative and interactive stations with topics like weight control, massage therapy, mental health and local physician services. Our purpose is to empower others towards living A Balanced Life.
